Developmental Behavioural Programs

Practical, compassionate support for children, teens, and families navigating behaviour, regulation, routines, and daily skills.

When behaviour feels big, it’s often communication. Our Developmental Behavioural Aides help families turn daily challenges into clear, teachable steps using structured routines, supportive strategies, and strengths-based coaching. We work alongside caregivers, educators, and allied professionals to build consistency across home, school, and community.

  • Emotional regulation and coping skills
  • Transitions, routines, and independence
  • Social skills and peer interaction
  • Executive functioning (planning, attention, organization)
  • Behaviour support plans and skill-building
  • School collaboration and home-to-school consistency

Our program is designed for families who want hands-on, step-by-step guidance. Sessions are structured, measurable, and tailored to your child’s developmental profile and goals.

  • Observation and goal setting (home, school, community where appropriate)
  • Individualized skill-building plans (simple, practical, and realistic)
  • Regulation routines (calm-down tools, sensory supports, coping scripts)
  • Positive behaviour supports (antecedent strategies, reinforcement, replacement skills)
  • Parent/caregiver coaching so strategies actually stick
  • Collaboration with schools/childcare/teams (with consent)
  • Progress tracking with clear notes and next steps
  1. Intake + goal conversation
  2. Initial observation + baseline
  3. Action plan + weekly implementation
  4. Progress review + strategy updates

We support children and youth with diverse learning and developmental needs, including (but not limited to): autism (verbal and non-verbal kids), ADHD, learning differences, anxiety, sensory processing differences, and developmental delays.

Our approach is neurodiversity-affirming, respectful, and grounded in skill-building, emotional safety, and dignity.
